Sunday, March 13, 2011:

Today I’ll do some laundry and start packing the suitcases I guess.  Gerald made breakfast (can you believe it!).  Meal 1 of 5 out of the way!  It’s noon…and he’s gone to take a nap! Need a rest before we start the next meal! (ack!)

We don’t have any other plans for today really.  Maybe we might go look at a beach that Kim told us about, but other than that…nothing else to do…just sit and enjoy the sun and view. 

Can’t believe we have been here 2 months already. Time really has flown by.  We have enjoyed this island.  It has as much to do as you want; activities galore, partying, fun or just silence and relaxation, even recuperation. Adjusting to a slower paced island-time takes some adjustment, but you get used to it.  Driving on the left side has been easier than anticipated. While we haven’t socialized as much here as we did in Belize, I think the circumstances were to blame for that (along with my inability to walk upright).  Given enough time, we would probably make friends and create some lasting relationships. 

Having John and Evonne come down and visit was so much fun.  It was something to look forward to and we had a great time.  We don’t get visitors at home and I think if we were to make this place our home…we would probably have more visitors.  And that would be great!

Well, if we do anything else today…I’ll update! Otherwise, assume we are going to eat 4 more times, pack, do some laundry, drink some rum and then go bed!
